The DIRECTV Ad Sales organization is seeking a Senior Director of Agency Sales responsible for leading a team of senior sales executives, providing direction to these sellers to achieve defined annual revenue quotas across multiple products. The Senior Director owns responsibility for achieving revenue targets for entire holding company(s). A successful candidate must be an effective leader, strategist, and communicator with a longstanding history of fostering a collaborative and results-oriented sales culture. Deep understanding of the media ecosystem including linear, addressable, streaming/digital inventory pools from either managed service and/or programmatic perspective is required. The Senior Director will need to understand how to evaluate data partnerships and platform needs and communicate to internal cross functional teams on risks and rewards. This person is a strong negotiator and creative problem solver who can consult agency leaders on how to take advantage of DIRECTV capabilities to deliver business outcomes that matter. The ability to succeed in changing and complex environments is key.**Here’s what you’ll do:**+ Lead a team of senior sales executives who oversee a pipeline of specific agencies and accounts within WPP and OMG for a converged video sell while driving strategic growth within these HoldCos.+ Create a foundation and vision for growth within a holding company by understanding wholistic Hold Co needs and by collaborating with leadership at agencies to determine priorities that match to DIRECTV’s strategic needs.+ Develop joint partnership plans with agency leadership and manage internal teams to pace and deliver on strategic goals.+ Understand marketplace conditions and provide direction to management on pricing, product and marketing needs.+ Provide guidance and motivate the team to generate new business, build lasting client relationships, and meet customer needs.+ Design and implement strategic plans that solve for marketplace challenges and help achieve revenue targets across all DIRECTV platforms including linear, Addressable, and digital.+ Identify and develop new opportunities or innovative sales tactics to meet company goals.+ Accurately forecast revenue to Sr. Management based on intel and relationship at agencies and direct reports.+ Foster a collaborative culture. Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional internal stakeholders including Client sales, Digital sales, Marketing, Business Analytics, Finance, and Pricing & Planning.+ Work closely with Business Development, Product, and Operations to ensure our product roadmap meets the needs of customers.+ Use knowledge of relevant media/marketing landscape and key competitors to identify and develop DIRECTV’s unique differentiators.+ Build the DIRECTV brand and knowledge of our leading solutions at industry events and thought leadership opportunities.+ Work to establish and define revenue quotas yearly based on business forecasting and company goals.**What you’ll need to be successful:**+ Bachelor’s Degree preferred, with 10+ years of professional advertising sales and /or digital sales experience with 5 years of relevant experience with agency sales.+ Experience leading a sales team.+ Experience within WPP and OMG business a plus.+ Experience establishing longstanding agency investment and planning team relationships at a senior level within WPP and OMG.+ Proven track record of leading sales teams that exceed revenue expectations.+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with C-level stakeholders both internally and externally.**This role requires, but is not limited to, 20% travel.****This is a New York City, NY, based position that works both in-office (2 days/week) and remotely. #LI-Remote****A career with us comes with big rewards:**DIRECTV's compensation structure is designed to be market-competitive and fully supports efforts to attract and retain employees.
