JMT, is currently ranked #61 on Engineering News-Record’s list of the Top 500 Design Firms.Position summary: Ensure the stable operation of in-house CADD (computer-aided drafting and design) software within the organization. This includes assisting with installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing designated CADD software platforms across the enterprise. The agent will also analyze and resolve user CADD program issues in a timely and accurate fashion.Essential functions and responsibilities+ Assist, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated plans for CADD software administration and appropriate use.+ Assist in migration projects to newer versions of CADD applications as needed.+ Configure and initiate CADD software, related hardware, and any other corresponding CADD assets.+ Provide tier 2 on-call technical support+ Assist with enforcement of CADD standards regarding layering, dimensioning, text annotations, BIM\CIM, and other aspects of CADD usage.+ Assist with training sessions and teaching materials for propagating CADD knowledge throughout the organization.Nonessential functions and responsibilities+ Perform other related duties as assignedRequired SkillsRequired Experience+ Degree or certification in CADD or other related field+ 2-3 years of related experience+ Knowledge of design and drafting proceduresPreferred Experience+ Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, computer science technology.+ Proficient in Bentley and\or Autodesk CADD products+ Proficient in ProjectWise and\or BIM360Working ConditionsWork is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking.
