Join us!**Job Description:**This job is responsible for leading the most complex technical designs that enable business strategies in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies. Key responsibilities include facilitating deployment of the most complex technical solutions by developing templates, playbooks and automation used during implementation. Job expectations include consistently looking for opportunities to improve the reliability and efficiency of implementing the services, and influencing a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.**Overview:**The Senior Cryptographic Engineer will be responsible for leading design, implementation, and maintenance of critical key management systems used to protect sensitive data within the bank and on the cloud. This role involves leading work efforts from inception to lifecycle management i.e. secure generation, storage, distribution, and rotation of cryptographic keys in compliance with NIST, FIPS and GDPR standards following all the best practices. Ability to develop detailed architectural diagrams to meet complex business/technical requirements.**Responsibilities:**+ Serves as a consultant on a broad range of technologies, platforms, and vendor offerings to drive targeted business outcomes+ Develops software solutions to address manual and repeatable work or inefficient processes and contributes to the technology strategy for end-to-end engineering solutions and provides feedback to the architecture teams+ Translates business requirements into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks for deployment in compliance with architecture standards and policies+ Participates in various steering committees for technical and infrastructure service domains+ Leads the evaluation of reference models, blueprints and playbooks to ensure they are fit for purpose+ Mentors and guides team members to ensure system design technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards+ Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment and help to resolve organizational impediments/blockers+ Ability to independently lead or manage small work efforts providing guidance to involved parties+ Ability to interact with senior management and present, solicit feedback and/or debate on subjects pertaining to the primary role+ Participates and provides feedback in the development of internal and external policies and procedures+ In-depth knowledge of AWS Security, Identity and compliance suite of services i.e. Amazon Detective, Inspector, GuardDuty, Audit Manager, Certificate Manager, CloudHSM, Directory Service, FW Manager, AWS KMS, IAM, etc. and working knowledge of Azure Security i.e. Defender for Cloud, Application Gateway, Microsoft Entra ID, Key Vault, etc. and their use with on-prem or cloud SaaS offerings+ Ensure compliance with internal standards, procedures and regulatory requirements related to key management. Participate in security audits and assessments+ Available to respond to security incidents involving the compromise or corruption of cryptographic key scenarios. Devise, implement and document corrective actions to prevent future incidents. Familiarity of Incident and Problem Management systems like Remedy or ServiceNow+ Maintain comprehensive documentation of key management processes, configurations, and incident responses+ Conduct training sessions and awareness programs for employees on best practices in key management and cryptographic security.
