Salary RangeUSD $22.00/Hr. - USD $26.00/Hr.OverviewThe Job in a Nutshell:The Purchasing Promotion Specialist provides multi-faceted support for the entire Purchasing department surrounding Promotions, as well as for the IS and Marketing departments. Purchasing Promotion Specialist is responsible for creating, maintaining, activating, and confirming promotions and conditions including Submission, Signage, Entry into Multiple Promotion Programs, and completing daily reports while maintaining SOX compliance documentation.Applications are accepted by the date below, which may be updated if the hiring timeline is extended.08/20/2024ResponsibilitiesMain Ingredients:Under the guidance of Manager, Category Managers, Director or VP:+ Create, Load, Review, and Troubleshoot Promo files and Winshuttle/Automate templates to make the following updates/changes in the system:+ Promotion load+ Process Promotion files via SSIS / Access Databases.+ Create, Load and Activate articles onto Promo in SAP as provided in daily reporting.+ Load Article Conditions as provided in daily reporting.+ Complete Signs Templates, working with Category Managers to ensure information is accurate.+ Load Scan Backs as provided in daily reporting, working with Accounting and Category Mangers to resolve questions and issues.+ CPD and Internal coupons+ Create Coupons as requested by the Marketing Department.+ Work with the Sign Department to create barcodes as needed.+ Create CPD offers as determined by Category Manager, Manager, Director and VP.+ Provide Support and Back up for Sr Purchasing Promotion Specialist+ Npower/Inmar offer creation and troubleshooting+ Processing Ad Billing+ Processing Scan Back Reporting for Category managers, Director, and VP.+ Provide Ad-Hoc reporting to Category Managers, Marketing, Accounting, Director, and VP of Purchasing using Bobj, SAP and SQL.+ Prioritize, Process and Resolve Helpdesk tickets sent by stores in an accurate and timely manner.+ Process Daily ECC Comp and Promotion Audit reports.+ Maintain current Basecamp Tasks Pertaining to Promotions for New Store Openings.+ Work closely with the other members of the Purchasing, Marketing, Accounting and PSDA to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.+ Any other tasks or projects as assignedAlthough this is a general outline of job responsibilities all employees are expected to be “hands on” and do whatever it takes to get the job done and help the company thrive.QualificationsRecipe for Success:+ Must have experience in SAP and NGVC store processes+ Must be organized and detail oriented+ Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and meet assigned deadlines+ Must be critical thinkers with a knack for troubleshooting and analysis+ Must be committed to data accuracy and integrity+ Must have a minimum intermediate level of Excel/Microsoft Office skills.This job description is not an employment contract.
