One Data Streaming Platform.Data Connects Us.**About the Role:**Confluent seeks a highly motivated Senior Video Editor to join our dynamic Video Team, an integral part of Confluent Creative Brand Services within our Marketing organization. In this fast-paced role, you'll play a pivotal part in our mission to "Up-Level Everything." Collaborate with a passionate team of go-getters and creative problem-solvers to elevate Confluent's video content to new heights. We're looking for an experienced professional who thrives in a creative environment and is eager to shape the future of corporate storytelling.**What You Will Do:**+ **Project Management & Collaboration:** Collaborate with teams to develop video concepts, production plans, and schedules. Ensure timely project delivery, aligning video content with broader brand strategies. Manage on-site and remote video shoots, capturing high-quality footage and directing talent.+ **Video Editing & Post-Production:** Edit raw footage into polished videos, selecting optimal takes, incorporating audio, light animation, and motion graphics. Implement stakeholder feedback and deliver final files in various formats.+ **Technical Skills & Continuous Improvement:** Maintain video assets, troubleshoot technical issues, and stay updated on industry trends and software advancements. Contribute to improving team processes and output quality.+ **Mentorship & Leadership:** Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to junior team members.+ **Additional Desired Skills:** Proficiency in camera operation, shooting techniques, and motion graphics animation (or a willingness to learn) is highly desirable.**What You Will Bring:**+ **Extensive Experience & Expertise:** 6+ years of professional video editing experience with in-depth knowledge of post-production processes, contemporary editing techniques, and industry standards for various deliverables.+ **Proactive & Collaborative Approach:** Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, proactively exceeding expectations and delivering projects ahead of schedule. Ability to take direction effectively, translate feedback into actionable results, and maintain a positive attitude.+ **Technical Proficiency & Problem-Solving:** Strong proficiency in industry-standard software, with the ability to independently troubleshoot issues and assist junior team members in problem-solving. Continuously evaluate workflows and tools for potential enhancements.+ **Self-Management & Team Contribution:** Self-motivated and capable of independently managing and delivering projects. Reliable team member contributing actively to team goals.+ **Corporate Video Production & B2B Experience:** At least 2 years of experience in corporate video production, preferably within the B2B software sector, demonstrating an understanding of the unique needs and dynamics of corporate communications. This position has an annual estimated salary of $117,700 - $138,240, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package.
