to join our team and fully embrace our commitment to deliver, grow and thrive .***This role is contingent upon award***About the Role:As a Telecommunications SME supporting our Federal government client, you will be instrumental in the design, development, evaluation, and execution of a cross-border wireless communications experiment. This role requires a deep understanding of telecommunications networks, particularly in the context of 5G and its integration with autonomous vehicles and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). Your work will focus on ensuring the success of the experiment through rigorous scenario development, testing, testing criteria development, dry runs, experiment execution, and post-experiment analysis.Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):+ Provide in-depth knowledge of 4G/5G networks, IP networking, and their applications in supporting autonomous vehicles and UASs in an international cross border 5G environment.+ Develop and execute integration testing plans, ensuring the functionality and reliability of autonomous systems and their supporting telecommunications networks. Document results, capture lessons learned, and update plans accordingly.+ Coordinate with a bi-national working group to plan and document the experiment, including the development of playbooks, scenario event lists, evaluation criteria, and training materials.+ Facilitate the experiment dry run, troubleshooting issues and ensuring all technical and operational elements are functioning properly. Update documentation and checklists based on findings.+ Engage with key stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of the experiment. Prepare and deliver pre-experiment briefings and materials to participants, facilitators, and VIPs.+ Oversee the execution of the experiment, implementing the Data Collection Plan, and addressing any issues that arise during the process.+ Contribute to post-experiment evaluation by gathering observations, conducting surveys, performing data analysis, and assisting in the preparation of a detailed final report documenting the experiment's findings and recommendations.+ Support post-experiment outreach and dissemination of findings.+ Carry out our Commitments to Deliver, Grow, and ThriveLocation:You will work remotely. You will travel to the US Canadian border at least 2 times.Required Experience/Skills:+ Master’s Degree+ 10+ years of professional experience+ Experience and knowledge of 5G networks and systems.+ Experience deploying 4G/5G networks and familiarity with 3GPP standards, and Wi-Fi standards.+ Knowledge of IP networking and applications.+ Experience working with autonomous vehicles connected to broadband networks.+ Extensive knowledge of broader telecommunications networks, equipment, evaluation techniques, and data analysis on system logs.+ Knowledge and experience with wireless networks, integration, and testing.+ Facilitator for working groups of 5-50 people.+ Detail-oriented With excellent communication skills.+ Ability to travel to the US/Canadian Border 2+ times.+ US citizenship and the ability to pass public trust clearance or suitabilityPreferred Experience/Skills:+ Experience with emergency response operations+ Knowledge of Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation (HSEEP) planning, documentation, execution, and reporting.Don’t think you have everything for this role but are still very interested?
