Position Number: 008059Department: Office of OneIT (Adm)Employment Type: Permanent - Full-timeMonths Per Year: 12Essential Duties and Responsibilities:This position provides both technical and functional development across all technologies associated with the University’s Salesforce and Marketing Cloud platforms.This position engages with business stakeholders to gather/analyze requirements and map them to solutions that leverage Salesforce and Marketing Cloud’s software functionality, and to demonstrate Salesforce and Marketing Cloud development capabilities to solve business problems and produce supporting documentation.+ Provides operational support, including administration of Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud systems, to ensure they are running and maintained in keeping with institutional standards and best practices.+ Supports ongoing requests for enhancement and optimization, aligns and prioritizes development tasks with the needs of stakeholders+ Acts as a point of business process and technical expertise related to Marketing Cloud email and CRM . Provide guidance to the business regarding email and CRM solution design and implementation.+ Acts as a point of technical expertise related to Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM systems capabilities and related technology.+ Supports ongoing development within an agile, iterative development methodology and contributes to all phases of the software development lifecycle.Minimum Experience / Education:+ Bachelor’s degree plus 2-4 years of relevant work experience including a minimum of 1+ years’ experience developing applications for the Salesforce and Marketing Cloud platform; or the+ Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.Preferred Education Skills and Experience:+ Minimum of 1+ years developing solutions utilizing APEX , VisualForce, SOQL and JavaScript+ Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator or equivalent experience+ Salesforce Certified Administrator or equivalent experience+ Expert knowledge of out-of-the-box Salesforce.com platform functionality+ Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL , and Web Application best practices
