Our core values include Embracing Difference; we seek candidates who are passionate about building a culture that encourages, embraces, and hires dimensions of difference.**@ICF Next,** we are fearless in finding new ways to solve problems, relentless in making sure it pays off for our clients and committed to making a positive change in the world.Join our community of mission-driven creatives, communicators, strategists, and technologists to challenge the status quo.We're currently hiring for a Communication Associate, Health to work mainly with clients at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) with the potential to expand work to additional ICF Next clients working across the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).As a **Communication Associate, Health,** you will:+ Use science-based communication strategies and tactics, including those that best resonate with audiences of focus, to reach and engage audiences to increase visibility of government communication programs, resources, and materials.+ Support outreach work for government health clients, including coordinating conference exhibit logistics, staffing conference exhibit booths, and supporting other special events.+ Coordinate communication product development, working with the client, !CF communication specialists, and ICF Next’s Creative Studio to write, edit and manage the production of a range of educational and promotional materials for use in public outreach (e.g., flyers, exhibit banners and displays, signage, short-form videos, and other collateral materials).+ Support key project tasks and work with project staff on the prioritization, coordination, completion, and submission of key project deliverables.+ Provide administrative and logistics support across projects including managing project timelines, meetings, deliverables, and work plans.As a **Communication Associate, Health,** you will have:**Basic Qualifications:**+ Bachelor's degree in public health, health communication, marketing, public relations, social sciences, or equivalent required.+ 2+ years of communications experience, federal government experience preferred.+ U.S. citizenship (required by Federal government for position)**Professional Skills:**+ Strong writing skills, with experience writing for a variety of platforms.+ Excellent interpersonal, written, and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize, manage and communicate multiple tasks at a given time.+ Experience with making logistical arrangements and/or staffing for exhibit booths, ideally focused on public health.+ Strong project management skills, including an ability to triage multiple priorities and pivot as needs change, as well as a meticulous and detail-oriented approach to processes, timelines and communicating with clients and colleagues.+ Demonstrated ability to self-start, collaborate, coordinate, and communicate effectively with all levels of client and client partners, including leadership.**Location:**+ The successful candidate is ideally located within a commutable distance of the Washington, D.C. metro areas. Although the role can be performed remotely, the ability to work in a hybrid manner (part remote/part office) is preferred.
