About the Role:

The Marketing Analytics Lead will be responsible for driving the analytical strategy and insights for the marketing team. This role requires a blend of analytical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to guide marketing efforts through data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, marketing metrics, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.

Key Responsibilities:Data Analysis & Insights:Analyze marketing performance data across various channels (digital, social media, email, etc.) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and campaign effectiveness.Use statistical methods and data mining techniques to provide insights and recommendations for marketing strategies.Strategic Planning:Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop data-driven marketing strategies.Guide the planning and execution of marketing campaigns by providing insights on target audiences, segmentation, and personalization.Forecast marketing outcomes and set measurable goals aligned with business objectives.Leadership & Collaboration:Operate with an ownership mentality and demonstrate the ability to lead a project from start to finishWork cross-functionally with product, sales, finance, and IT teams to ensure alignment and integration of marketing analytics across the organization.Communicate complex analytical findings to stakeholders at all levels in a clear and actionable manner.Technology & Tools:Utilize advanced analytics tools and software (e.g., SQL, R, Python, Google Analytics, Tableau) to conduct analysis and visualize data.Stay updated on the latest marketing analytics trends, tools, and best practices, and implement improvements as necessary.Manage relationships with external vendors and partners for data acquisition and analytics support.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing analytics, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.7+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data analysis, or a related field.Proven experience in leading and managing a team.Strong proficiency in analytical tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, R, Python, Google Analytics, Tableau).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems is a plus.

Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $187,000 - $220,000 in San Francisco and New York, and $158,000 - $187,000 in Denver and most remote locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.

Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately

2-3 days

per week (or more depending on role). The same office expectations apply to all Symmetry roles, Gusto's subsidiary, whose physical office is in Scottsdale.

Note: The San Francisco office expectations encompass both the San Francisco and San Jose metro areas.

When approved to work from a location other than a Gusto office, a secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required.
