What you will do

The Senior Program Manager, Strategic Marketing will be responsible for evolving and executing the Customer Excellence strategy for the Upper Extremities -UE division comprised of surgeon consultant management. This includes responsibility for aligning UE leadership and functional leaders around all surgeon engagement activities, strategies, and contracting decisions. This individual will have direct strategic ownership for the strategy, alignment, and execution of multiple business-critical surgeon advisory boards, faculty selection at all events and educational programs based on knowledge of surgeon competencies, assess and propose KOL decisions to Thought Leaders process to bring consistency to new and renewed contracting decisions based on qualification and alignment to business needs, facilitating in-person visits to surgeons to assess surgeon capabilities and address surgeon consultant needs or concerns. The expectation is to create synergies among the functions within and adjacent to the scope of the role. This alignment includes Downstream and Upstream marketing, Medical Education, sales leadership, Thought Leader stakeholders, and cross-divisional leadership to ensure execution of the Annual Marketing Plan and Business Unit/Divisional goals. Individuals must provide superior clinical, industry, and business knowledge necessary to review, advise, and manage surgeon KOLs to support divisional strategy and uphold the corporate compliance policies that maintain the highest levels of surgeon interaction standards.

Strategy & Alignment

Work with all cross-functional leaders, UE executive leadership, and cross-divisional leadership to ensure alignment with surgeon management.

Work across Stryker divisional leadership to align and partner on surgeon strategies.

Ownership of SAB, Hardware Advisory Board, and Digital Advisory board meetings to include attendees and agendas to ensure alignment to UE strategic imperatives.

Ownership of communication strategy associated with surgeon engagement to ensure consistent podium messaging.

KOL Management

Responsible for managing all surgeon consultant relationships for Upper Extremities.

Align and lead key UE leadership members in the qualification and evaluation of all potential surgeon consultants with in-person meetings to ensure alignment to business needs.

Manage KOL feedback sessions in collaboration with cross-functional partners.

Manage and initiate all surgeon consultant proposals in partnership with consultant sponsors through the Thought Leader process.

Adhere to all Stryker Policy, Code of Conduct, Regulatory, and Compliance Processes.

Advance Customer Engagement Initiatives.

Develop communication strategy with KOL’s across the shoulder arthroplasty market.

Develop in-depth expertise of the shoulder market and clinical procedures that guides program development decisions and supports surgeon relationship-building

Is responsible for brand alignment and developing collateral.

Anticipate, identify, and resolve high-level problems associated with completing projects.

What you need

Bachelor’s degree required.

10+ years of work experience required.

5+ years of medical device or marketing/sales experience preferred.

4+ years of work experience in orthopedics or similar field preferred.

2+ years of experience working with cadavers in workshops/ labs/ OR preferred.

$118,400- $239,900 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors
