Our Asset Operations Services include Trading Strategy Development, Managed Bid Optimization, Managed Scheduling Services, Managed Program Services, Managed Retail Optimization, Remote Operations Center, and Operations Consulting.What we are looking for:As the Director of Product Marketing for Stem Technology & Services, our ideal candidate will drive Stem's ongoing marketing efforts for various STS software and/or services offerings (exact scope will be discussed and adjusted based on candidate profiles), including both new solution launches and ongoing sales training and enablement for existing solutions, as well as competitive and market intelligence. Success means market share growth and strong messaging that articulates clear customer value and differentiates Stem from competition in each target segment.We are looking for a strategic leader, a doer, and a thinker who seeks out innovative approaches to accelerate market capture and who uplevels Stem's positioning, messaging, and sales readiness .

The ideal candidate will start as an individual contributor and grow into a team leader.Responsibilities:Gather and analyze market, customer, and competitive intelligence to inform development of go-to-market strategies that maximize Stem's growth and market share. Leverage this intelligence to drive sales enablement, inform marketing strategy and solution roadmap.Create, maintain, communicate, and deliver on a product marketing roadmap including all solution launch and sales enablement aspects from web content, collateral, and sales playbooks to sales training, marketing outreach campaigns (in collaboration with Marketing & Communications.) Performance will ultimately be measured in Stem's sales and market share goals being achieved.Start as an individual contributor and be ready to quickly grow to strategically lead a team of product marketing professionals.Collaborate with Solutions & Product teams to influence Stem's roadmap and align new solution releases with market entry strategies. Through identifying customer needs and requirements, influence how the product looks, acts, and feels.Drive new offerings to "release to sales" by shepherding a cross-functional launch process with Sales, Solutions & Product, Marketing & Communications, and other internal teams.Collaborate with Marketing & Communications and Solutions & Product to develop collateral, web content, press releases, webinars, white papers, and other materials that articulate the value of Stem's offerings to partners and customers.Be an advocate and evangelist by attending conferences and webinars and leveraging your personal brand in social media to promote Stem's value proposition externally.Requirements:10+ years of experience in Product Marketing5+ years of hands-on experience in the energy industry. Ideal candidate has experience with renewable energy asset management and market optimization, including both distributed energy resources (DER) and wholesale market participating assets, battery energy storage and solar PV.Ability to work autonomously with excellent time management skills, focusing on key outcomes amidst competing priorities and tight deadlines.Ability to think across disciplines and functional expertise.Ability to embrace ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.Ability to act both as an individual contributor and a team leader.Ability to think strategically and deliver tangible outcomes.Bachelor's/Master's degree in business, engineering, economics, math, or similar subject (or equivalent practical experience). Advanced degree a plus.Job LocationStem is looking to bring world-class talent to its team. The business is headquartered in downtown San Francisco, but has a deep employee base located throughout the U.S. Location is secondary to finding the right person for this role.Salary Range$182,550.00 - $255,750.00
