Job Description Summary

WVNCC seeks applicants for Graphic Arts Designer Sr.

This is an on-campus position on the Wheeling Campus with college-wide duties. The position will assist the marketing department with graphic design and marketing to create a visually appealing and effective designs of print and digital materials. This position will collaborate with various departments to understand their design needs and develop creative solutions that align with the college's brand.

Responsible for planning, creating, and producing video content for the college, reaching all audiences including prospective and current students, parents, staff, faculty, and community members. This includes handling the entire video production process from concept development to final editing and distribution. Additionally, produces a variety of branded graphic design materials, including brochures, posters, postcards, booklets, invitations, newsletters, and signage, as well as graphics for advertising campaigns and social media.

Works directly with colleagues across campuses, taking responsibility for projects from conception through completion. Provides assistance with photography, website content, and social media as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to

Essential Functions% TIMEPlan, shoot, interview, write copy, edit, and create video. Create digital content for informational and promotional purposes. Shoot video of events, testimonials, classes, etc. for social media and web. 55%Responsible for the creation and design of branded pieces that includes, but not limited to, brochures, posters, business cards, postcards, booklets, invitations, and signage, as well as graphics for advertising campaigns and social media. 35% Assist Marketing Department with web site design and content management, social media, photography, and events when needed. 10%
