Job DescriptionITS Analyst, Int. (Web Development)
About the Position
The ITS Analyst Int (Web Development) will define and document system scope, objectives, and business requirements to meet user needs related to portal applications, internal web applications, and public website development. The incumbent will be a member of agile scrum development team focusing on technical analysis, technical support and quality assurance. The incumbent will assist business customers in making informed decisions regarding the development, configuration, and functionality of various applications, and provide technical consulting to end users on systems projects. The ITS Analyst Int will facilitate the coordination and integration of program-related development and implementation activities for in-house developed and integrated software. The incumbent will contribute to the support and maintenance of assigned applications and serve as a technical support point-of-contact.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Works with in-house development staff and business department to devise or modify user stories for sprint backlog.Develops, generates, and maintains standard, custom, and ad-hoc documentation, including reports and/or queries from the applicable source system.Monitors, audits, and administers database integrity and security.Researches and recommends solutions to system issues.Works closely with core project team, Information Technology Services (ITS) staff, and other users to research, identify and resolve production support issues.Participates in the design and implementation discussions of new system processes, reporting, and other system enhancements.Investigates, analyzes, and makes recommendations for process flow, data storage, test plans, user documentation and training.Works with business departments to assist with their requirements, document 'as is' and 'to be' process flows, defines options and methods to accomplish preferred results, Quality Assurance (QA) data to their satisfaction and provides technical support for applicable business staff.Performs data quality checks on various reports and dashboards.Assists project team with possible solutions and test scenarios for optimal outcome.Acts as a liaison between relevant internal departments and application development staff.Provides production support to resolve problems with production processing.Completes other projects and duties as assigned.Experience & Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related field required.3 years of experience in ITS Technical Application support required.3 years of experience working on Agile/Scrum teams developing web solutions to meet user needs required.2 years of experience supporting high visibility public facing or company intranet web applications required.An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position such as those listed above is also qualifying.Preferred Qualifications:
1 year of experience in Information Service experience working in a health care related setting, preferably a health plan.1 year of experience with automated web testing tools such as Selenium, Appium or similar.Physical Demands and Work Environment:
