Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven, and forward-thinking Senior Marketing Analyst to join our Credit Card growth team. You will directly lead and contribute to deliver our most ambitious projects in a high paced environment.

In this role, you will be a key influence in the success of our growth goals. We are searching for candidates with strong fundamental experience in marketing analytics in consumer lending domain.

This position is required to be in one of our office locations, Chicago, IL or Salt Lake City, UT.

Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Insights:
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing campaigns, including customer segmentation, channel performance, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Utilize advanced statistical techniques and modeling to derive actionable insights and recommendations for optimizing marketing strategies and investments.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate insights to stakeholders.


Customer Segmentation and Targeting:
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Business Intelligence teams to develop customer segmentation models based on demographic, behavioral, and transactional data.
  • Analyze customer lifetime value (CLV) and propensity models to identify high-value segments and optimize targeting strategies for acquisition and retention campaigns.
  • Leverage segmentation insights to personalize marketing messages and offers, driving engagement and conversion rates.


Campaign Optimization and Attribution:
  • Evaluate the performance of marketing channels and tactics through attribution modeling and multi-touch analysis.
  • Optimize marketing spend allocation based on ROI analysis and incremental lift calculations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to test hypotheses, iterate on campaign strategies, and drive continuous improvement in marketing performance.


Forecasting and Predictive Modeling:
  • Develop predictive models for customer acquisition, churn, and cross-sell opportunities to support strategic planning and resource allocation.
  • Generate forecasts for key business metrics, such as cardholder growth, spend volume, and revenue projections.
  • Monitor model performance and refine methodologies to improve accuracy and reliability over time.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing analytics, data analysis, or related quantitative field, preferably in the financial services industry, Masters degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL, Python, R or similar tools.
  • Experience working with DBT, BigQuery, Looker, Google Analytics is preferred.
  • Prior experience in marketing analytics initiatives, including experimentation, test design, segmentation and Multi-Channel Attribution.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
