The Allen Americans are seeking highly motivated, outgoing, and dedicated candidates for our 2024 - 2025 Photography and Videography Internship Program. Candidates should expect to build upon their work experience in the fast-paced, results-driven world of the ECHL. Finalists will be contacted for interviews. All applications will be kept on file until the beginning of the internship program that each candidate applied for.

Position Overview:

The internship program offers hands-on experience in photography and videography for the '24-25 ECHL season with the Allen Americans. Candidates selected will work directly with the head of marketing and digital media director to provide an in-depth on-ice and behind-the-scenes look into the upcoming Allen Americans hockey season. (Candidates will be asked to provide their camera equipment.)

Timeline:

September 2024 - April 2025 (or after completion of Playoffs)

Attend ALL home games of the Allen Americans.Attend selected community outreach eventsAttend pre-game meetings for each home gameWork with all other photographers and videographers to provide the best content possibleOther duties assignedInternship Requirements

Working towards a four-year college degree or graduate degree or recent graduate in Marketing, Business Administration, or Sports ManagementProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator)Strong organizational and oral/written communication skillsProven ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.Strong professional attitudeExperience in the sports industry preferred.Available to work every home game.Must have camera equipment and laptop for purposes of editing on-site

Compensation:

This is a non-paid internship. If an intern needs school credit, they can receive hours.
