Leasing Agent
to join our progressively growing team in Batavia, NY. To ensure STR gets the best candidates, we offer a competitive salary and benefit package. In addition, we offer a variety of professional development programs and learning opportunities to enhance your overall knowledge of the industry.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Present property and provide amenities in a positive light to prospective tenantsAdvertise available units using a variety of media and promoting materialsDetermine the needs, living standards and economic viability of prospective residentsConfirm rental application data and personal referencesConfirm rental application data and personal referencesStay knowledgeable of the property market statusNegotiate leasing terms and conditions and close dealsOther administrative tasks as needed and/or deemed appropriate by Community Director
Qualified candidates will, at minimum, have a High School Diploma (or GED), a strong customer service background, and basic computer skills. Preference will be given to applicants with HUD knowledge and experience. The position will require organization, the ability to multitask, excellent communication and closing skills, and a positive, upbeat attitude. A professional image must be maintained by following our dress code and appearance standards as set forth by the employee handbook. We are looking for a team player with a passion for property management to join our team.
