Providing muscle activation and pain relief, our solutions support patients recovering from surgical procedures or chronic ailments and support overall human and animal health.High Level Position Summary : The Vice President of Global Marketing for Recovery Sciences (RS) is responsible for leading all strategic and tactical marketing activities by exercising deep knowledge and experience in leadership, strategy, marketing, organizational development, and project/program management to achieve business growth and profitability targets. This individual will work to attract, develop, motivate, and manage a high-performing team of marketing professionals and will build a culture of achievement and accountability by effectively empowering, engaging, and managing talent. Key to success will be forging productive cross-functional relationships across the RS leadership team including sales, research and development, manufacturing operations, finance, quality, sales operations, and human resources. This position leads the global Product Pipeline Prioritization and Launch process in addition to the annual business planning process for the US, from forecasting, mix, budgeting, promotion, medical education, supporting key customer evaluations, collateral development and staffing/prioritizing convention support and focus.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a team of marketing professionals to high performance and accountability.Cultivate a robust talent development plan to build a market-leading organization and culture.Partner with leaders of sales, finance, manufacturing operations, sales operations, and R&D in the development and execution of new product launch plans.Craft and track the annual marketing budget to deliver on our financial commitments and targets.Lead global insight-driven product planning, positioning, and pricing/margin activities for current product portfolio.Lead US product planning, positioning, pricing and promotion activities for current product portfolio.Collaborate with internal and external resources to monitor, understand and respond to competitive product performance, branding, messaging, and tactics.Be the face of the company as the principal knowledge owner for the product portfolio, driving best-in-class relationships with our clinics, KOLs, and customers.Enthusiastically promote the portfolio with customers (sales management, reps & clinicians) at conventions and sales meetings.Serve as the market expert within the business: understanding customer’s current and future requirements, strengths, and weaknesses of competitors’ products, and how to effectively differentiate our products.Work with clinicians to support and promote product evaluations via safe and effective use.Leverage their knowledge through the development of marketing collateral, key messages and product training to ensure that domestic and international sales teams are fully equipped to sell products/solutions.Partner with sales and supply chain functions to guide and support selling activities to meet sales revenue and operating earnings targets, backorder management and overall product lifecycle support.Develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives to gain greater market share, improve revenue generation and increase penetration of our technologies in served and near adjacent markets.Utilize Enovis Growth Excellence (EGX) tools to deliver objectives and drive continuous improvement, including:Conduct monthly “Marketing L2” meeting, utilizing root cause countermeasure (RCCM), policy deployment (PD), and other tools to manage progress vs. objectives.Utilize EGX tools including Global NPI templates, evaluation scorecards, ECV calculators, etc. to make the best decisions possible about the future of the product & solutions portfolio.Drive financial management and accountability to assure successful execution of marketing programs and consistent achievement of revenue and profitability objectives.Supervisory Responsibility : Hires, trains, develops and retains a talented marketing team. Responsible for both direct and indirect reports.Scope/Role Dimensions :Responsible for budget.Global marketing responsibility for RS business.Staff size (approx. 5 direct reports).ExperienceMinimum Basic Qualifications :Minimum of 10 years of experience or equivalent with marketing/in-line brand management experience in the medical device industry.8 or more years of employee management experience, with at least 3 managing large teams and 5 or more years managing those who manage others.EducationBachelor’s Degree in Marketing required. MBA highly preferred.General Skills/Competencies/Specialized KnowledgeSupervisory Skills - ability to direct and manage a department or team of employees. Responsible for both direct and indirect reports.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Proficiency in SalesForce is helpful.TravelMust be able to travel up to 30% of the time; both domestic and international travel is required.Work-related travel assignments range 1-3 days, and as such overnight, out-of-town stays are required.Work Environment and Physical DemandsTypical office environment.Physical Demands: standing, sitting, climbing, crouching/kneeling, lifting, carting, etc.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.“Creating better together”.
