Course themes could include areas in documentary/essay, dramatic fiction, animation, experimental, or other expanded digital media practices. Technique-centered courses in cinematography, sound design, and post-production are also considered. Studio course design should integrate theoretical and critical approaches to media study into hands-on production techniques and forms. Applicants should demonstrate creative and technical expertise, but also a strong commitment to teaching media production within a liberal and fine arts curriculum at a large, diverse, public research university.General Duties:
In addition to teaching responsibilities and demonstration of production technologies, general duties include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus), and interacting with students outside of class time via email and campus web-based course resources.Qualifications
