rEvolution is seeking a

Director, Media Analytics

to join our growing sports marketing agency. In this role, reporting to the Global Head of Analytics & Insights, you will lead and motivate the analytics team by providing detailed analytics-based strategic insights and direction to aid in the development of reporting and analysis for existing and potential agency clients.

Working closely with the agency’s client and internal account management, creative, strategy, research, and media teams, you will provide a consultative perspective on analytical tools, measurement, and testing. You will play a supporting role in agency new business opportunities.

You Will:

Direct analytical strategies, methodologies and deliverables across multiple clients

Manage a team of BI analysts and developers, providing guidance and supporting their growth.

Maintain an in-depth knowledge of current media industry news and brand business (current and historical perspectives) with a focus on upstream initiatives

Oversee, analyze and interpret media performance while ensuring delivery of sound business strategy and optimization toward succeeding client KPIs

Work with the team to deliver strategies and agency POV’s as well as oversee the translation of these strategies into the final audience plans

Analyze client’s audience strategies and work with internal groups to lead business case development

Manage external vendors or consultants for BI-related services and/or tools.

Develop and support reporting of various testing efforts to improve overall results and effectiveness of client campaigns

Manage and oversee campaign planning and campaign effectiveness, with respect to:Data transformation, extraction, loading

Defining key metrics and set goals

Developing test and control methodologies and design

Identifying target populations, tactics

You Have:

10+ years of experience performing and leading analytics initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree in statistics, social science research, economics or related field preferred

Proficiency in analyzing large datasets to derive insights and make data-driven decisions.

Experience with designing and maintaining data warehouse architectures.

Ability to create and manage data models that support business needs.

Strong reporting background; experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, etc. for data visualization and reporting.

Understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools to integrate data from various sources into the data warehouse

Strong experience in data mining/statistical techniques, experiment design and database management, including database techniques, data warehouse, normalizing tables and relational design.

This hybrid role is based in our fabulous Chicago office, but has a global reach
