DarkStar Intelligence seeks a talented Instructional Systems Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide expert e-learning instructional systems design services, developing blended and online courseware tailored for virtual classroom environments. The position is based in Washington, DC, and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph.Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.Location:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide e-learning instructional systems design services to create blended and online courseware or templates for virtual classroom environments.Apply knowledge of educational principles, distance learning concepts, graphic design, and electronic teaching techniques to determine the most effective subject matter, goals, length, approach, and instructional media in accordance with customer requirements.Follow the ADDIE instructional systems design process to develop instructional/design plans, storyboards, and final e-learning products.Test courseware products in the learning management system (LMS) test environment.Utilize practical knowledge and expertise in tools such as Blackboard, Captivate, or other e-learning platforms and applications.Stay updated on current developments in learning management systems and adult education methodologies.Minimum Qualifications:

Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Counterintelligence Polygraph.Minimum of six (6) years of experience.Practical knowledge and expertise in instructional design processes and terminology.Master's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Adult Learning/Andragogy, or a related field from an accredited institution. (In lieu of a degree, extensive relevant experience may be considered).Demonstrated knowledge in learning theory, educational psychology, instructional design practices, educational evaluation, instructional product development, and the use of computers in education and training.
