It is important to us to include diverse perspectives, and empower our teams to do great work.This role will be assigned to the Core Team, which will focus on data visualization and activity details.You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:Lead and implement across all phases of the design process from vision to implementationLead multiple complex and large-scale strategic projects that are deemed business-criticalDevelop hypotheses and implement experiments that improve our customers’ experienceHave a direct and easily attributable impact on our business growthDemonstrate a strong understanding & implementation of the internal design processIdentify and design impactful product improvementsPartner with the research team and use research techniques, competitive analysis, and data to advise strategic and tactical design decisionsCollaborate with partners in product, engineering, marketing, and analytics to help identify problems and opportunities and help shape strategic visionHelp drive alignment of different cross-functional partner and stakeholder perspectives toward a single direction.You will be successful here by:Embracing an inclusive, collaborative environment that elevates a diverse set of voices and experiences.Applying a systems thinking approach to problem solvingClearly and simply articulating your design decisions and connecting your design decisions back to team goals and objectivesGuiding the vision for the product and achieving it through design explorations, documentation, and presentationsParticipating in qualitative research and quantitative analysisProducing detailed specs for your interaction models and UI and collaborating with engineersWe’re excited about you because you have:Minimum of 4+ years of experience designing and shipping products and features from inception to launchA portfolio that showcases what you’ve shipped for web-based designs and the impact it hadDesigned and shipped experiences for web (responsive design)Advanced knowledge of the end-to-end product design process, demonstrating a command of product strategy, distilling the jobs to be done for the users, journey mapping, information architecture, wireframing and prototyping, user testing, and high-fidelity designsDemonstrated the power of design to drive business impactPassion for testing ideas, taking smart risks and learning from themExperience working in an Agile software organization, in cross-functional teams / pods / vertical teamsAbout StravaStrava is Swedish for “strive” which epitomizes who we are and what we do.
