Principal Program Manager, Supplier Marketing & Advertising

We are looking for a Principal Program Manager to own key programs and projects to help grow supplier marketing and advertising revenue at Whole Foods Market (WFM). This role will be responsible for leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and managing ongoing business planning and reporting in collaboration with stakeholders across WFM and Amazon Product, Finance, Marketing & Insights, and Merchandising teams.

We are looking for a strategic, critical thinker with strong business acumen and communication skills who obsesses over customers, earns trust with stakeholders, dives deep into business metrics and processes, and consistently delivers results.This hybrid position is based in Austin, TX

and will require a minimum of three days per week in our downtown office.Responsibilities:Lead initiatives to deliver on our company advertising and shopper marketing supplier revenue target and goals.Drive continued innovation and expansion of our advertising products and go-to-market offerings that will yield the most value and return for WFM suppliers.Analyze program results and make data-based recommendations on program iterations and evolution.Lead business operational cadence for advertising, including monthly/quarterly business reviews and annual operating plans.Build business cases to support the prioritization of new projects and strategies to drive program results.Influence annual and 3Y/10Y plans, including financial targets, goals, and investments.Lead and facilitate discussions to drive decision making and alignment across WFM and Amazon stakeholder groups.Qualifications and Skills:BA/BS degree and

6 - 8+

years’ relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Proven track record delivering business results through high impact programs.Strong quantitative, financial, and business acumen with experience building financial models and defining and vetting assumptions.Strong analytical skills with a knack for interpreting trends and data and making informed projections/assertions.Excellent interpersonal communication skills and levels of tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality.Ability to build strong relationships across diverse groups of stakeholders.Communicates written information in a clear, structured, and concise manner.Able to effectively present information and respond to questions in both one-on-one situations and group meetings.Strong understanding of standard project and/or product management methodologies and requirements.Ability to oversee and advise on project management issues and assist with overcoming barriers.Strong understanding of the WFM business, food retail industry, and the business models of key strategic partners and competitors.At Whole Foods Market, we provide a fair and equal employment opportunity for all Team Members and candidates regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, age, marital status, disability, or any other legally protected characteristic.
