Remember to check your CV before applying Also, ensure you read through all the requirements related to this role.Redwood Credit Union is looking for a Senior Vice President of Marketing, Communications & Public Relations who will be responsible for planning, organizing, developing, implementing, directing, and evaluating Redwood Credit Union’s Marketing, Communications & PR strategies and efforts, to assist the organization in achieving company goals. This forward-thinking leader will bring an innovative and goal-oriented approach to the development and execution of projects and initiatives and facilitate a comprehensive and positive experience for the business, team members, and Members.Essential Functions

Serve as a member of the Senior Leadership Team providing leadership and direction for the Credit UnionPlan, develop, implement, and monitor budgets, plans, policies, procedures, and short- and long-term strategies for areas of responsibility including market data analytics, marketing and advertising programs, external Member communications, public relations, social media, and marketing research programsDevelop and maintain organization’s image and brand via effective marketing, product placement and presentment, Member communications, public relations, and social media programsServe on and/or direct a variety of committees to ensure effective interface of all key areas of responsibility with other areas of the organization and to ensure policies, programs, objectives, and goals are effectively communicatedAttend and actively participate in Board of Directors meetings, Senior Leadership meetings, ALCO meetings, Board and SLT strategic planning sessions, Human Resource Committee, etc.Manage Public Relations and act as primary spokesperson where appropriate and manage contacts for all media/press inquiriesRepresent Redwood Credit Union to outside entities such as Members, community leaders, members of the press, politicians, examiners, auditors, vendors, and others.Develop and implement plans and policies to attain goals and objectives, measure progress, and implement adjustments as appropriateDevelop and regularly evaluate procedures and programs and ensure effective implementation and communicationPlay an integral role in the development of annual projects and budget to support marketing, technology, and communications and PR effortsContinually assess the competitiveness of programs, processes, and practices against relevant comparable companies, industries, and markets to ensure use of best practices.Establish and maintain credibility throughout the organization to execute and provide effective leadership over key areas of responsibilityEnsure areas of responsibility comply with Credit Union, State, and Federal law and regulationsProvide leadership for direct reports and department. Recruit, select, train, motivate, mentor, evaluate, and develop direct reports.Minimum Qualifications- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong knowledge and demonstrated skills in marketing, marketing technology, digital channels, communications, public relations, and social mediaExcellent detail, organizational, multi-tasking, facilitation, influence, and prioritization skillsExcellent communication (written and oral), public speaking, and crisis management skillsKnowledge of a variety of media and digital delivery channel and product positioning strategies, efforts, and methodsDeep experience encouraging collaboration between cross-functional teams to deliver effective and efficient solutions to business linesCurrent knowledge of Federal and State marketing-related laws, rules, and regulationsSolid knowledge of the financial services industry, trends, and resourcesTrack record of success analyzing people processes, data, and trends to make recommendations to business units and Senior Leadership to drive continuous improvementCurrent knowledge of national and local economic trends and conditionsStrong knowledge of online/internet/web and social media and network practices and techniquesKnowledge of data processing, databases, Marketing Customer Information Files (MCIFs), target marketing, social media, and internet/web capabilities and practicesAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of people including Members, team members, officials/directors, community leaders and groups, politicians, regulators, attorneys, vendors, and other individuals and groupsAbility to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist, and turnAbility to lift up to 15 poundsAbility to use a computer keyboard and calculatorWork environment is indoors, majority of the time is spent at a deskCompensation and Benefits
