Duties include project management, coaching, training, and customer support.Objectives of this RoleAlign Content Development objectives with strategic goals of the organizationDevelop and deliver automotive content according to requirements provided by Content Development leadershipDevelop performance goals and operational plans to drive improvements in production efficiency and quality outputsManage team members to achieve goals and objectivesMaintain organizational awareness of Content Development activity and performance towards strategic goalsEnsure cross-functional communication and support with all functions, Product, Application Development, Sales & FinanceDaily and Monthly ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiativesDirectly manage staff of managers/supervisors & content analystsPlan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasksProvide regular reporting of team performance related to deliverables, productivity and qualityMet or exceed Customer performance SLA’sUpdate job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.Resolve problems and disseminates advisories and warningsMaintain customer satisfaction by providing problem-solving resourcesAchieve content development objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.Accomplish content development human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, training, and coaching employees.Build and maintain relationships with department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals.Ability to travel as needed for conferences, events or customer visits (Up to 10%)Required Skills and QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experienceMinimum 10 years’ experience in a similar leadership roleStrong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, demonstrated by previous professional successAutomotive industry experience, including an understanding of vehicle components as it applies to parts and servicing at repair facilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrates strategic thinking skillsCreates an environment of strong collaborationDelegates and empowers effectivelyDemonstrates experience in large scale change management initiativesDrives Talent Development as a priorityExcellent presentation skillsHigh competency in project planning and executionEffective negotiation skills in both internal and external settingsEffectively manages development workflowStrong literacy in the use of Microsoft office applications interactionMaintain calm under pressureInfluence without authorityUnderstanding of system design and data relationshipsPreferred QualificationsExperience in the automotive eco-system either in the Aftermarket, OEM or component supplierUnderstanding of AutoCare standards used in the AftermarketProven ability to develop innovative solutions for increased productivityStrong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management softwareJob Info
