Minimum qualifications:+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.+ 4 years of experience creating content for technical audiences (e.g., developer documentation, Computer Science course material, or IT administration playbooks).+ 2 years of experience performing copy and developmental edits for product documentation, online publishing, or technical blogging.Preferred qualifications:+ Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communication, Journalism, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.+ Experience writing for the web and with Markdown, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google (oogle.com/benefits/) .+ Work with a team of technical writers to edit, publish, and maintain high-quality documentation and online content, including overview and concept documentation, how-to guides, and API references.+ Consult with writers on developmental editing, content strategy, information architecture.+ Consult on, and perform large documentation maintenance projects. Consult on terminology and branding decisions.+ Train new writers on Google style guides and processes.
