The Jr Art Director will lead the visual and artistic direction of all marketing campaigns and materials. This role requires a highly creative individual with a strong eye for design, a deep understanding of fashion aesthetics, and the ability to bring brand visions to life through compelling visual storytelling. The Creative Art Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and impactful brand messaging across all channels.Key Responsibilities:Creative Direction:+ With Sr Director, create and oversee the visual concepts for all marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with the brand’s identity and strategic goals.+ Develop high-quality visuals, including photography, videography, graphics, and layouts.+ Ensure that all creative assets are executed flawlessly, maintaining consistency and quality across all marketing materials.Design and Production:+ Manage the end-to-end design process for marketing materials, including print, digital, and social media assets.+ Oversee the production of creative content, ensuring it meets the brand’s standards and resonates with the target audience.+ Maintain high standards for design quality, reviewing and approving all creative work before it is finalized and published.Collaboration and Communication:+ Work closely with Wantable marketing, design, merchandising product development, and e-commerce teams to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing campaigns.+ Collaborate with external agencies, photographers, videographers, and other creative partners to produce high-quality marketing content.+ Present creative concepts and campaign visuals to senior management and key stakeholders, incorporating feedback into final designs.Team Leadership and Development:+ Lead, mentor, and inspire graphic designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.+ Identify and nurture talent within the team, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.+ Conduct regular performance evaluations, set objectives, and provide constructive feedback to team members.Brand Management:+ Ensure all creative work aligns with the brand’s visual identity and guidelines.+ With Sr Director, develop and implement strategies to enhance the brand’s image and visual presence in the market.Market Research and Analysis:+ Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to inform design decisions and keep the brand ahead of the market.+ Utilize market research and consumer insights to create visuals that resonate with the target audience.Digital Marketing Support:+ Create visually engaging content for social media platforms+ Design visually appealing email templates and graphics to support email marketing campaigns.+ Collaborate with the web development team to ensure the website’s visual elements are consistent with the brand’s identity and enhance the user experience.Budget and Financial Management:+ Assist Sr Director in managing the creative marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.+ Collaborate with Sr Director to ensure marketing initiatives are cost-effective and align with financial targets.RequirementsQualifications:+ Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field.+ Minimum of 7 years of experience in graphic design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within the fashion industry.+ Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in visual storytelling, design, and creative direction.+ Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).+ Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.+ Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.+ Detail-oriented with a strong eye for aesthetics and visual composition.Working Conditions:+ This position may require travel to photo shoots, industry events, and meetings with external partners.+ The role is a hybrid position with a minimum of 2 in-office days/week and may involve work in various environments depending on creative activities.Please note that this job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and does not encompass every task or responsibility that may be requiredBenefitsMedicalVisionDentalEmployee Discount401KPaid HolidaysPTO
