Job Title: CAD Design DraftspersonJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced CAD Design Draftsperson to join our team. This role is ideal for an independent‐minded CAD professional seeking a position of responsibility in a dynamic and collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities: Work independently and collaboratively to prepare plans, applications, documents, and graphical materials in support of land development projects including site plans, subdivision plans, road plans, profiles, cross‐sections, stormwater management plans, plot plans, septic system plans, variance plans, environmental permitting plans, etc Work independently and collaboratively to prepare land surveys, topographic mapping, utility mapping, wetland mapping, as‐built plans, etc Communicate and coordinate directly with clients, subconsultants, architects, attorneys, and government agencies as needed Research and review documents such as agency regulations, application checklists, and project‐specific standards to ensure required information is included and appropriately formatted on plans and documents Work independently and collaboratively to make and document revisions to submitted plans in response to client requests and agency comment lettersPosition Requirements: High school diploma required, some college or trade school preferred 2+ years CAD experience required Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office required, GIS experience a plus Ideal Candidate will have: ability to read 2D plans and blueprints ability to creatively plan efficient workflows and layouts strong ability to organize and present information graphically strong written and oral communication skills experience with land development and/or land surveying projects ability, confidence, and desire to work and succeed with minimal supervision+ Job TypeThis is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).Work EnvironmentJob located in sussex county, NJ and does require onsite.About ActalentActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
