This position will play a critical role in telling the Bowery story through social content (amplified to channels like email, blog, etc.). As such, we’re looking for a bold creator who will build an engaged community through wildly creative content.We are seeking a Social Content Manager who excels in content creation, with a strong focus on video. This role is pivotal in driving our brand presence, specifically on the platforms of TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn. You will be responsible for crafting dynamic and engaging content that resonates with our audience, elevates our brand, and boosts our social media presence.We're a small team, so your ideas and direction will be reflected in the content you produce. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, organized, and scrappy (befitting start-up culture). Ideally, you’re also passionate about leafy greens, herbs, and foods that make the most of them.This role will report to the VP of Marketing and be based out of our NYC HQ. We follow a hybrid working model.What You'll Do:+ SOCIAL MEDIA:+ Content Strategy & Evaluation:+ Execute our content strategy emphasizing video content, brand partnerships and influencers–aiming to increase engagement and grow our audience across key consumer platforms like TikTok and Instagram.+ Amplify social content across related digital channels (e.g. email, blog).+ Partner with the VP of marketing to develop a thought leadership content strategy for LinkedIn.+ Identify and monitor KPIs for each platform to glean learnings and optimize performance.+ Content Creation:+ Hands-on creation of content for TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn while also partnering with creative resources (agencies, influencers, brand partners, etc.) to produce content for specific campaigns and initiatives.+ Comfortable being on camera in-office and in public to film a variety of content.+ Own the 30/60/90 content calendar for each platform that aligns with the marketing objectives.+ Maintain brand story and voice to ensure consistency across all social platforms for both organic and paid efforts.+ Support ongoing press needs, such as active amplification of earned media, as well as occasional event coverage needs, such as an influencer activation.+ Will include physical tasks, such as shipping sample products out to brand partners/influencers, visiting farms and Bowery facilities, and attending events and functions to capture content.+ Competitive, Industry, and Trend Research:+ Stay ahead of social media trends, especially video trends on TikTok and Instagram. Utilize insights to create content that captures attention and drives engagement.+ Keep up on the latest news in agriculture as it relates to technology and climate to leverage as a source for content inspiration. Monitor competitor activity across social platforms.+ COMMUNITY & INFLUENCER PROGRAM MANAGEMENT:+ Active Day-to-Day Platform Management:+ Engage with the audience by responding to comments, messages (including inbound emails), and mentions in a timely, respectful and engaging manner. Build and nurture relationships with followers and influencers. Escalate trending and large-scale issues when appropriate.+ Leverage existing database of FAQs, while proactively adding and approving boilerplate responses when necessary.+ Community Building:+ Serve as an active ambassador to the Bowery community, including developing key moments for engagement that align with the marketing calendar.+ Influencer Programming:+ Own the influencer strategy and execution across social platforms including identifying, negotiating, and managing relationships and the execution of influencer content.Who You Are:+ An experienced FP&A Associate with a background in finance or accounting in CPG and technology companies. Completion of banking analyst, or private equity analyst program preferred+ An advanced user of analytical tools.
