Reporting to the product release supervisor, this position works closely with engineers, preparing and reviewing drawings and layouts of components and systems, and may contribute to engineering change control processes. Final grade level and compensation dependent on experience, education, and qualifications.Essential Functions / Responsibilities :+ Prepares drawings and production release documentation+ Peer reviews drawings and production release documentation+ Reviews engineering requests for completeness and appropriateness+ Prepares layouts and designs which often require use of involved descriptive geometry and trigonometry+ Works with engineers to develop new products and revise existing products+ Suggests dimensioning and tolerancing schemes+ Plans and carries out special related assignments or investigations as directed+ Performs other related duties as assigned+ May process / coordinate engineering change documentationQualifications:+ High school diploma or equivalent preferably supplemented by technical training school+ Working knowledge of 3D modeling in CAD+ Working knowledge of standard drafting practices+ Working knowledge of descriptive geometry and trigonometry+ Working knowledge of Geometric dimensioning and tolerances per ASME Y14.5Preferred Qualifications:+ Demonstrated ability gained through 7 or more years of experience in related assignments+ Experience with Creo and Windchill+ Experience managing an Engineering Change Request / Notice Process (ECN)PACCAR Winch promotes diversity and inclusion through mentorship, training, events and internal organizations such as the PACCAR Winch Diversity Council, Winch Women’s Organization and the Veteran Affinity Group.
