We are rapidly growing and need a passionate designer to help us advocate for our front-line workers while building scalable tools to keep delivering smiles. We work locally, globally, in the physical and virtual world and work backwards from the customer using a human centered design process. We are looking for a seasoned UX Researcher contractor who will be able to support running UX Research programs for products and software.Key job responsibilities• Perform all aspects of the UX research lifecycle (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting, and communication).• Understand product roadmaps and be able to translate them into long-term and short-term UX research plans. Identify and prioritize research questions based on the analysis of existing product designs, business needs, project goals, and risks.• Work with product management and engineering to come up with requirements for capturing clickstream data. Monitor and analyze user behavior using web usage analytics and statistical tools.• Conduct qualitative and quantitative studies with a focus on both generative and evaluative efforts.• Perform quick but thorough data analysis to uncover insightful and actionable results that drive tactical and strategic decisions.• Document best practices for conducting user research of sellers and help create a seller usability toolkit for conducting formal and informal user studies.• Conduct variety of user experience studies appropriate to the business objective, e.g., competitive reviews, focus groups, field studies, usability tests, surveys, cognitive walkthroughs, paired comparisons, structured interviews, contextual inquiry, task analysis, field studies, heuristic review, remote testing, and card sorting.• Create tasks and materials needed for testing and define success criteria for each study.• Presents usability study results and make actionable research-based recommendations to product team members.• Observe user session, making notes for analysis and communicating the findings with the design team to ensure that usability findings are implemented correctly.• Work with designers to analyze and refine wire frames and mockups prior to development to promote greater ease of use and positive consumer experience.Job Qualifications* Degree in Cognitive or Experimental Psychology, Technical Communication, Human Computer Interaction, or equivalent experience* Minimum of 7+ years experience doing user research and conducting formal usability studies.* Demonstrated history of conducting usability studies and user research, including contextual inquiry, screening questions, plans, and reports.* Teamwork and collaboration-oriented in a very dynamic group.* Detail oriented and able to take on self-directed projects* Communicate complex subject matter verbally or in written formAbout TEKsystems:We're partners in transformation.
