**Kelly Engineering** is currently recruiting for a **(Direct Hire) (Specification Writer)** job located in **Atlanta, GA** .**Job Description:**+ Utilize knowledge of construction products, materials, and methods to write specifications for a variety of complex projects and building types that include Education K-12, multi-family, hospitality, commercial, industrial, and interior design initiatives, and other diverse building types.+ Work as part of the project team, under the guidance of the Architect of Record, to produce Project Manuals utilizing the Office Masters.+ Maintain awareness of evolving building technology, systems, and building codes and ensure baseline specs are up to date with CSI and Code compliant.+ Author Division 00-14, selective 31, and 32 Architectural sections, and as needed custom sections, for inclusion in the Project Manual.+ Plan, schedule, and manage multiple projects and deadlines – phases, milestone deliverables for various project delivery types.+ Coordinate the Project Manual for all other disciplines.+ Assist teams in preparation of addenda/bulletins.+ Assist teams during Construction Administration phase to review submittals, substitution requests, and specifications related to RFI’s.+ Organize and plan accordingly to execute tasks and meet project deadlines.+ Self-check work for accuracy, omissions, and legibility.+ Mentor and train emerging professionals and project managers on the specifications process.+ Must be detail-oriented and have excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.+ Must be highly organized, motivated, and a self-starter with an aptitude for learning and the ability to collaborate with teams.+ Must have the ability to perform multiple tasks and demonstrate adaptability by often changing assignments on short notice.+ Computer conversant and proficient in WordPerfect X9, Microsoft Office Suite, Acrobat Pro, and Bluebeam.**Experience & Education**Ten (10) years minimum architecturally related experience preferred.Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) Certification CCS or CDT minimum.As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
