Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive.**Your New Role…**CNN seeks a talented Producer (Temporary) to join The Chris Wallace Show and Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace team in Washington, DC!**Your Role Accountabilities…**Our team produces two distinctive programs: The Chris Wallace Show on CNN and Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace on Max. The first is a news analysis show which features Chris with a panel of four journalists who discuss the week’s biggest stories. The second is a long-form interview program in which Chris sits down with celebrities, newsmakers, business leaders, etc and it streams weekly on Max. The Producer is responsible for working on both programs, including but not limited to, line producing, PKG writing and producing, show writing, post-production and supervision of editors. We’re looking for a producer with strong editorial judgment to work with associate producers in selecting key elements for the taped interviews, as well as the panel program. The Producer will also work closely with other senior producers and management to ensure that all tapings go as planned. This producer must also have the ability to write interesting and conversational copy, including teases. Job may require travel and will involve being in the control room during tapings.**Qualifications & Experience…**+ 5+ years producing experience.+ Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience.+ Field production experience and control room experience are necessary.+ Strong writing and production skills including shooting and editing+ Requires a creative thinker with the ability to find new and entertaining ways to present information, new angles to approach stories, and the organizational skills to bring it all together.+ Must have a strong news background.+ Must be able to work an extended schedule as the news cycle and deadlines require.+ Ability to travel as needed**How We Get Things Done…**This last bit is probably the most important!
