The Proposal Writer’s main responsibilities are overseeing the RFP, RFI, or rebid process for both new opportunities and existing clients, ensuring the production of high-quality professional materials that align with the agreed-upon win strategy. Collaborating closely with the sales team to acquire new business and with the operations team to retain current clients, the Proposal Writer organizes and reviews all client-provided documents, develops project timelines, assigns responsibilities, and manages all deliverables to meet deadlines. Their role includes authoring, proofreading, and editing content, creating supporting graphics, and ensuring the material's consistency, clarity, relevance, and persuasiveness. The Proposal Writer also ensures that all content is well-written, accurate, and compliant with each solicitation's requirements, overseeing the entire process from request to delivery. Additionally, the Proposal Writer researches and writes new content for the shared library and helps develop sales presentations to support the sales process.**RESPONSIBILITIES:**+ Review and interpret the Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quote (RFQ) and Pre-Qualification packages; analyze the requirements to ensure that our responses are compliant with the customer’s requirements+ Write, edit, and review proposal content, ensuring a high level of quality and persuasiveness; Work closely with the sales lead or account owner to ensure consistency with proposals and adherence to proposal development processes+ Provide proposal development and production support that includes content development, graphics, formatting, styles, version control, editing, proofing, and final proposal delivery to client+ Work with Sales and Marketing teams to maintain proposal/marketing library with relevant, high-quality content for use in future proposals+ Create initial drafts, assign work distribution, and communicate deadlines to team members+ Report regularly to VP Business Development, and opportunity owner on project status+ Perform quality check and solicit internal reviews of proposal documents+ Work with sales team to create compelling, customized, professional presentations to be used as part of sales or RFP process+ Special projects such as sales pipeline management, reporting and tracking bid workflow, and proactive updating of proposal and presentation material**QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):**+ Must possess one of the following:+ Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field+ Associate’s degree in Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field with a minimum of three (3) years of work experience managing or supporting the proposal development process+ High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years of work experience managing or supporting the proposal development process+ Minimum of three (3) years of experience authoring, editing, and developing impactful content and material, preferably with a focus on the development of sales-related materials+ Minimum of three (3) years of experience with Adobe, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office applications, preferably with a focus on the development of sales-related materials+ Exceptional writing and editing abilities with a strong command of grammar and meticulous attention to detail+ Strong organizational, problem solving and prioritization skills+ Project management expertise with proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while consistently meeting strict deadlines.+ Strong planning and reporting skills+ Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as follow-up skills**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):**+ Online platform experience+ Graphic Design/Photoshop experience**BENEFITS:**+ Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance+ Enrollment in our company’s 401(k)plan, subject to eligibility requirements+ Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days+ Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly.
