We need a Marketing Communications Coordinator who can create, organize, and implement marketing programs, events, and campaigns for several of our product and service groups at Levi, Ray & Shoup, Inc.The person we seek will join our team of marketing professionals who deliver compelling and effective business-to-business marketing programs. We need someone comfortable with working on a website in the morning, planning a digital marketing campaign in the afternoon, and organizing a customer in-person or virtual event somewhere in between. We need a Marketing Communications Coordinator who can coordinate customized marketing campaigns; events; mass mail and email campaigns; sales presentations; advertising; social media postings; web site updates; and gifts/awards for customers and sales teams.Your efforts will help ensure that our marketing programs are creative, memorable, measurable, and effective. Although we need your ideas and creativity, you won’t be in this job alone. Draw on other members of the marketing team by brainstorming with them and departmental sales managers to develop marketing concepts and programs that best align with their sales challenges and goals. You will work with departmental leadership to develop marketing messaging consistent with their goals. You will work with our senior writing team to create content for all marketing channels, including web copy, sales literature, emails, social media, etc.This position is based in Springfield, Illinois. Your compensation will consist of a base salary plus paid overtime. This position is eligible for a flexible work arrangement (FWA), i.e., work remotely up to 2 days per week after completing 9-12 months of in-office training.Applicant Requirements:+ To be considered for this position, you must have at least 2 years’ experience marketing products or services. Or have completed six semesters of college-level course in business, communications, or marketing.+ You must have 1 year experience in planning internal and external events. Or have completed an internship in marketing.+ Experience in marketing information technology products or services will make you a stronger candidate.+ Experience as an intern with LRS as a marketing intern will make you a stronger candidate.+ Also, experience with content-based marketing, updating web sites, social media marketing, SEO (search engine optimization), and blogging will make you a stronger candidate.Success Keys:Your success will be judged by the feedback from the groups you support. You will need to supply timely and creative marketing coordination support. A successful Marketing Communications Coordinator will develop a good understanding of the products and services offered by the sales departments and will be able to help develop creative marketing ideas for to delivering campaigns, events, and materials to assist with selling those products. A good marketing communications coordinator should be deadline driven and be able to multi-task numerous marketing projects. You will develop a good working relationship with the marketing team members and sales and technical managers from other LRS groups. You will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team. You will need to be a self-starter.Organization Structure and Interfaces:You will be a member of a 12-person marketing team and you will report to the Director, Marketing Services. This team operates as an internal corporate marketing agency and is solely responsible for all marketing projects the LRS divisions. In addition to the Director the marketing team includes marketing/technical writers, graphic designer, web specialist, and other marketing communications coordinators.
