You will position these innovations within our experiment-oriented, and data-driven culture, and work as a bridge across organizations to drive adoption. Your work will be instrumental in ensuring that the right decisions are made as Prime Video continues to connect customers with the right content at the right time. You will need to be an excellent leader, capable of coordinating efforts across various parts of Science, Engineering, Product, and Business to accomplish shared goals.A day in the lifeA typical day might look like as follows:[9am] Craft a goal update for a key goal that goes up to our director or VP[10am] Attend a science standup and help unblock a key milestone[11am] Update the experiment roadmap with updates on the in-flight experiments across the org[12pm] Pickup lunch from a nearby restaurant and eat with an science/engineering team[1pm] Work through a launch-blocker with scientists and engineers[2pm] Talk with Product managers about the requirements for an upcoming project[3-5pm] Respond to some emails and work through the release strategy for an upcoming projectAbout the teamThe Content Discovery and Experimentation Science is a central team which defines customer and business success metrics, models, heuristics and econometric frameworks. The team develops, owns and operates a suite of data science and machine learning models that feed into online systems that are responsible for personalization and search relevance. The team is responsible for Prime Video’s experimentation practice and continuously innovates and up-skills teams across the organization on best practices. The team values diversity, collaboration and learning, and is excited to welcome a new member whose passion and creativity will help the team continue innovating and enhancing customer experience.Basic Qualifications- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules- Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmapsPreferred Qualifications- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadershipAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
