DescriptionWe are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and customer obsessed Risk Specialist to join the Ads Trust Policy operations team . In this role, you will be an owner, responsible for ensuring that Policy’s operational queues are efficiently maintained and executed. You will work cross-functionally with Amazon Ads stakeholders to assess requests to change ad policies, improve communications with advertisers, and ensure that content is up to date and stakeholders are informed when policies are updated. You will deliver these results independently, translating policy-speak into responses that best fit the audience and situation, as well as proactively identifying solutions to policy issues. You will develop a deep understanding of Amazon Advertising policies, working closely with the authors of these policies as you provide guidance to partner teams and in sharing the emergent themes and feedback with Policy Managers that can be learned from the high-volume of requests that you manage. You will also develop a deep understanding for how we moderate ads at Amazon, working closely with moderation teams to ensure we’re making the right decisions to protect our customers experience and enable advertisers to run successful campaigns. Finally, you will participate in operational improvement initiatives to bring efficiency to the processes we follow, regularly monitoring data and proactively proposing and implementing new ideas for achieving operational efficiencies. If you are looking for a role in a team that has a varied and excited remit, are a self-starter that can solve issues independently, and are looking for more exposure to the way we strategically develop and enforce ad policies, this is the role for you.Key job responsibilities* Independently own and manage policy operations SOPs and queues that cover critical business functions like communications and change requests* Own investigating and responding to a high-volume of Ad Policy tickets from internal stakeholders* Learn our Ad Policies in order to provide the right guidance to partner teams* Make consistently accurate decisions on when to escalate complex and sensitive requests to Policy Managers and partner to drive towards a resolution* Identify patterns and themes from high-volume of requests, raising those to Policy Managers for continuous policy improvement and working with operations leads to realize efficiencies* Assess and evaluate opportunities and potential risk to business operations, including managing operational roadmaps, analyzing data and workflows to identify gaps, driving sustainable efficiencies, and facilitating change communicationsAbout the teamAdvertising is one of the fastest growing businesses at Amazon and that growth generates challenges in managing huge volumes of advertising submissions while maintaining a high customer experience and working at the speed that advertisers demand. We are a global and diverse team with a long tenure in online advertising and expertise in developing customer experience solutions for highly sensitive and restricted categories of advertising.Basic Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant and related field* Ability to work directly with internal team members to resolve a query or request* 2+ years experience in relevant field such as Policy, Trust & Safety, or Escalations Management* Intermediate Excel skills and experience pulling and analyzing large sets of dataPreferred Qualifications* Experience on an escalations or on-call team with a policy or operations remit* Dedication to quality demonstrated through meticulous attention to detail, adherence to established standards, and continuous improvement initiatives* Strong interpersonal and communication skills* Proven success in a fast-paced environment* Ability to communicate effectively across various functions and levels of the organization* Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional team* Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects - work prioritization, planning, and task delegation* Demonstrated ability to Deep Dive into complex issues* Great organizational skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, managing of time and meeting deadlinesAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,200/year in our highest geographic market.
