We hope you join us in creating the future through higher quality sleepPosition PurposeThe Planning Manager, New Customer Marketing is responsible for assisting with strategy development and leading the execution of new customer acquisition and new lead generation leveraging consumer insights, data analytics and ROI, and digital and direct mail initiatives. As Planning Manger, you will organize the efforts of multiple teams and coordinates effective cross-functional promotional marketing plans with a focus on development, integration, communication and measurement. The strategic marketing initiatives will align with brand and product strategies and are focused on increasing the purchase consideration and driving sales of new customers.Primary Responsibilities+ Lead the development and alignment of internal marketing initiatives for new product innovations with a focus on performance marketing and promotional campaigns+ Serve as liaison between Sleep Innovation product development teams including Beds and Bedding and to support promotional plans across all Marketing functions+ Partner with Product team on the development of strategy briefs​ that directly connect Sleep Number innovations to health outcomes+ Work closely with all marketing channel owners to integrate strategies throughout amplification plans+ Drive communication on initiatives to keep team members informed and engaged+ Lead measurement of initiatives from message testing to in-market results+ Creates and optimizes processes and tools to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability+ Marketing point of contact with key promotional partners (ie. Synchrony)Position Requirements+ 5+ years of experience in marketing planning or program management+ Consumer product or retail companies experience highly desired+ Performance marketing and/or promotional campaign experience preferred+ BA/BS required in related field or commensurate work experience requiredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities+ Exceptional relationship building and people management skills as well as the ability to prioritize, lead, and influence while working in fast-paced, ever-changing and demanding situations.+ Track record of delivering multifaceted campaigns from strategy through execution+ Excellent business planning and organizational skills+ Strong leadership skills with ability to manage and motivate peers+ Proven written and verbal communication skills+ Conceptual, analytical skills and time management skillsWorking ConditionsHybrid work environment providing the flexibility and balance of a blend of remote work and onsite collaboration in office at Sleep Number's corporate Headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota. #PIQWellbeingWellbeing is more than a catchphrase - it's a movement that permeates our company and through our team members.
