If that sounds like something you want to be a part of, apply today!Position Summary:The Social Media Marketing Specialist contributes to achieving the company's strategic goals and program initiatives by developing and implementing effective content to enhance brand visibility and engagement across various digital platforms. The Specialist plans, creates, and deploys social media campaigns as well as curates relevant, in-depth website and blog content. Playing a crucial role in maintaining the brand voice, tone, and online visibility, the specialist adheres to brand guidelines and promotes Blue Raven Solar and its services. They possess an eye for detail and prioritize quality by staying up to date on current trends.Responsibilities:+ Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and team to support strategic goals through content strategy and social media initiatives.+ Create engaging content including articles, blog posts, videos, infographics, and social media posts including text, images, videos, and infographics; collaborating with the Graphic Designer(s) for visual support.+ Maintain brand voice and tone in all communications, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand identity.+ Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote products, services, and company events/initiatives.+ Conduct research to understand the target audience, their needs, preferences, and behaviors.+ Monitor and analyze social media metrics to evaluate the performance of campaigns and make data-driven decisions. Provide regular reports on social media performance.+ Stay up to date with current social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms to adapt strategies accordingly.+ Craft compelling, high-quality, and concise copy for various platforms, ensuring message effectiveness.+ Develop long-form content that supports lead generation efforts and engages potential customers.+ Interact with customers and employees across various channels, addressing positive and negative comments and messages.+ Prepare and present monthly reports on social media marketing efforts.+ Perform other duties as needed.Minimum Qualifications:+ Certification or degree in social media marketing or other related degree OR minimum 1-2 years of experience working in a social media marketing role.+ Strong writing and editing skills with an emphasis on creating engaging and compelling content+ Understanding of high-performing social media engagement.+ Experience using various analytics software and knowledge of best practices for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.+ Comfortable and able to work with a team in a fast-paced work environment.+ Must be able to occasionally work at night or on a weekend if content needs to be posted or a comment / DM needs an urgent response.Key Competencies:+ Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas+ Proficient in crafting engaging content+ Ability to work independently and within a team+ Organized and can work efficiently on multiple projects to meet deadlines+ A go-getter who is proactive about solving problemsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
