POSITION SUMMARY:UWorld is seeking a Content Writer – Digital Marketing to produce engaging marketing content in support of multiple business lines, including medical, nursing, pharmacy, accounting/finance, legal, and college readiness. The Content Writer will be responsible for producing copy for web pages, email campaigns, blogs, brochures, whitepapers, eBooks, promotional and sales material, video scripts, infographics, and bylined articles.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Education Required:Bachelor’s degree in communications, PR, journalism, marketing, business, or related field.Minimum Experience Required:· Five years of experience in a prior copywriter, editor, or communications position· Previous marcom experience creating content for campaigns, websites, advertising collateral, and social media· Portfolio of work showcasing a variety of content types· Working knowledge of SEO best practices and AP styleRequirementsRequired Skills:· Exceptional written communication skills· Expertise in writing well-researched long-form articles and short-form copy from content briefs· Superior organizational and self-motivation skills· Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with internal clients, colleagues, and management· Ability to write for content optimization (SEO) with keyword integration· Ability to work well within a team environment with competing priorities· Ability to meet deadlines and follow content requirements in terms of style and project specifications· Ability to react in a constructive manner to direct feedback and constructive criticism· Attention to detail with respect to adhering to and enforcing UWorld brand standardsJob Duties: (Including but not limited to)Copywriting· Produce engaging and educational marketing content for various forms of print and digital material – web pages, blogs, brochures, case studies, eBooks, infographics, etc.· Compose well-researched thought leadership pieces, including whitepapers, eBooks, and bylined articles, for various audiences and verticals· Work within the UWorld marketing team to produce content for marketing campaigns· Help to create and update style guides for multiple verticals· Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging, branding and styleBenefits+ Competitive compensation (contingent on experience)+ Paid time off (based on sliding scale according to hire date and work hours)+ A generous paid holiday schedule that includes the entire week of Christmas off+ Onsite work environment, 4 days with 1 day remotely each week+ Comprehensive benefits package (medical, vision, dental, life, disability)+ 401(k) plan for retirement with 5% employer matching (eligibility after 90 days of employment)+ On-site group fitness classes & a relaxed work environmentAt UWorld, we believe strength is derived from the talents, ideas, and experiences of a diverse workforce.
