Communications Operator_

**Job Title:** Communications Operator **Reports To:** Communications Supervisor**Overview:** The Communications Operator ensures effective communication and coordination across various departments and emergency services. This role involves operating advanced communication equipment to maintain safety and respond to emergencies 24/7.**Key Responsibilities:** - Monitor and respond to alarms and communication systems for multiple departments. - Dispatch personnel for emergencies and service requests. - Maintain documentation related to emergency equipment and services. - Handle resident and guest room reservations, including related paperwork. - Support reception desk during non-business hours and breaks. - Monitor intercom systems and handle package deliveries. - Create and maintain various administrative documents.**Education & Qualifications:** - High School Diploma or GED required; college credits in communication or computers preferred. - First responder, and CPR Preferred. - Strong documentation and verbal communication skills.**Physical Requirements:** - Ability to operate equipment and sit for extended periods. - Lift up to 10 pounds and manage various communication tasks.**Working Conditions:** - Well-lighted communication center with state-of-the-art equipment. - Exposure to high stress and eye strain.
