We are looking for someone customer-obsessed with a passion for advertising.Key job responsibilities• Successfully develop solutions that enable advertisers to grow their business leveraging our suite of advertising product.• Create effective go-to-market mechanisms to maximize business opportunities.• Meet with customers and convert their feedback into concrete product improvements and milestones.• Work backwards from the end state for customers to define product and design requirements.• Develop the roadmap and drive product development• Unblock and expedite multiple engineering teams.• Successfully launch and ramp the product and features worldwide.• Establish and measure success criteria in ambiguous areas like performance optimization.• Represent the quality and growth of creatives in organization-wide business reviews and documents.A day in the lifeAs Principal Product Management - Technical, you will lead the product vision and roadmap for Audio and Podcast advertising. You will have experience leading complex product initiatives across internal teams and stakeholders to prioritize roadmap features and spearheading the definition of new capabilities through product and technical design documents. You will have a high level of comfort with ambiguity, a deeply analytical mindset with the ability to investigate complex challenges, and can effectively influence across organizations. You work backwards from the customer, dive deep into data to understand the issues, and drive product development to deliver collaboratively with your teams and partners.About the teamThis role will sit on the Audio and Podcast leadership team. We work to maximize ad revenue opportunities for Amazon and these unique entertainment publishers. We partner closely with product and program teams across Amazon to create ad supply, and with a multiple Ads teams to scale demand.Basic Qualifications- 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience- 8+ years of technical product or program management experience- Bachelor's degree- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product- Experience technical product managementPreferred Qualifications- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvementAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
