Collaborates regularly with others in Communications, Marketing, Functions or Business Segments. Reports to the Corporate Communications Director of Media Relations & Issues Management.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Develop and execute internal and external communications strategy for the Corporate Finance function, including leading earnings storytelling and positioning, and developing a thought leadership and messaging platform for the CFO.2. Ideal candidate will develop proactive public relations to obtain positive media mentions on Truist products, services and purpose; lead leadership message development; manage spokesperson training and issues management; and internal communications at the function level.3. Serve as the primary communications partner for the Corporate Finance leadership team.4. Counsel and collaborate with social media team on key issues and thought leadership.5. Maintain Corporate Communications policy.6. Plan content/messaging and graphics/videos for town halls, conferences, speaking engagements and events.7. Serves as a resource on complex solutions and uses data and insights to drive results.7. Drive the achievement of client, operational, project, service, and risk management objectives.8. Forge relationships with business leaders to gain knowledge, align communications objectives and goals with the business, and serve as a trusted consultative partner.**QUALIFICATIONS****Required Qualifications:**The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Seven years of progressive and related experience3. Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal, negotiation, listening and management skills; ability to successfully interact with people at all levels of the organization and counsel, negotiate, influence and inspire4. Proven project management ability including managing the conceptualization and execution of multiple large, complex projects along with capability to make rational decisions under pressure5. Strong, well-rounded communications skills including writing/editing, project management, publicity, and news judgment6. Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities7. Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and an understanding of the market and regulatory factors that affect our business**Preferred Qualifications:**1. Bachelor's degree in Communications or Marketing, or related fields.2. Ten years of related experience.3.
