Infused throughout our organization is a passion for creativity and innovation — a desire to push the boundaries and invent the unexpected — as we continue the bold work of our founder Estée Lauder.**Position Summary:**The Value Chain, Environmental and Issues/Emerging Risks Communications Coordinator plays a critical role in helping to drive awareness of and promote ELC’s corporate reputation in priority environmental areas (e.g., climate, water, biodiversity) and across the global value chain. The Coordinator will provide day-to-day communications support for the Global Corporate Communications, Environmental, Value Chain and Issues/Emerging Risks teams, as well as broader Global Corporate Affairs team. The Coordinator’s responsibilities will span internal and external communications, communication channel operations, administrative project support and stakeholder coordination.**Key Roles and Responsibilities:****Digital Communication Channel Operations:** Help maintain a consistent presence of Environmental and Value Chain moments on primary internal and external digital communication channels, including employee intranet, corporate website, and corporate social media channels; handle distribution of internal e-blasts; partner with internal stakeholders on distribution lists; compile metrics to assess performance.**Integrated Communications:** Support the execution of an integrated, global communications strategy by driving a variety of internal and external tactics including drafting written materials (i.e., intranet articles, social media posts, website copy); compiling executive materials for media and speaking opportunities (i.e., talking points, briefs); coordinating event logistics (i.e. townhalls, external event participation); supporting development of creative content (i.e., videos, podcasts); conducting research to identify and vet events/conferences, awards, media targets, potential partners etc.**Program Activation:** Provide support for creating and activating strategic programs, initiatives and partnerships across the Environmental priority areas (e.g., climate, water, biodiversity) and Value Chain (i.e., responsible sourcing, safety, green chemistry, ingredient transparency, climate, packaging) in partnership with Global Supply Chain, R&D and Global Corporate Citizenship & Sustainability (GCCS) teams; craft internal and external communications to support efforts; conduct research to support initiatives; vet inbound media/speaking/event opportunities.**Issues Management Administrative Support:** Support head of Issues/Emerging Risks communications on day-to-day administrative support, including basic project management, background research, competitive analysis, creating content for Q&A documents and internal updates as needed, media and stakeholder monitoring, and other tasks.**Project Management Support & Stakeholder Coordination:** Provide administrative and project management support to help guide day-to-day activities and help ensure the Environmental and Value Chain Strategic Communications teams and broader Corporate Affairs team are prioritizing appropriately and planning for major deadlines; maintain calendar of key communications activities, milestones, and storytelling moments; maintain tracker of key work underway; handle notes and action items from meetings; coordinate closely with a variety of internal partners to arrange meetings, schedule events, submit requests for creative support, request technical assistance, etc.**Qualifications**· Must be highly detail oriented with strong project management skills.· Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.· Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment and able to independently prioritize work to meet tight deadlines.· Good interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with a wide range of business partners.· Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.· Years of experience required: 1-2 yearsThe anticipated hourly range for this position is $27.60 to $40.95. Exact hourly rate depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Hourly range may vary based on geographic location.
