Job DescriptionNordstrom’s Brand Social team is responsible for driving long-term, sustainable growth for the Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack brands on social platforms through brand and creator content, community engagement and paid + organic platform strategies. This team is responsible for delivering our brand message in social platforms, creating connections with new and existing customers and driving advocacy and share of voice. In this pivotal role, you will amplify our brand with expert voices, improve our speed in reacting to trends, grow community engagement, and enable social commerce from discovery to purchase. Your strategic leadership will drive brand objectives, foster creative and brand-right collaborations, and build a vibrant online community.Key Responsibilities+ Evolve and operationalize Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack Brand Social + Influencer strategy in partnership with Creative, Brand PR and Media teams, delivering results that support customer growth and engagement objectives.+ Partner to support JWN content strategy alongside Creative and Brand Marketing teams including production of high-quality, on-brand social content that delivers community growth and industry share of voice.+ Own and deliver strategic plan to engage Influencers in support of brand and audience growth. Support effective delivery of brand voice and values through Influencer partnerships .+ Coordinate with Brand Marketing, Brand PR and Media teams to amplify Influencer partnerships and social campaigns through additional paid and owned channels.+ Define and develop Brand Social monitoring and measurement capabilities that deliver insights on performance of brand and influencer content in support of goals. Monitor social trends and conversations , proactively integrating timely and relevant content.+ Define and establish capabilities to grow community engagement at scale , including strategies that enable customer connection with local store environments+ Represent Brand Social within established social platform partnerships , advocating for growth and innovation opportunities that align to customer objectives.+ Partner with JWN Care teams to support Customer Care programs and engagement on social platformsThis role is for you if you:+ Have experience bringing robust brand campaigns to life through Social, demonstrating deep understanding of platform nuances including organic and paid tactics+ Have hands-on experience working with Influencers and Creators, and know the difference between the two+ Have a strong point of view on how to drive community engagement, including how you leverage trends and insights to stay in front of algorithms+ Are curious and informed about how brands best leverage social for brand storytelling+ Can clearly articulate creative and platform learning agendas that deliver growth+ Love fashion and retail, and are energized supporting an innovative and dynamic spaceRequirements and Competencies+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus+ 5-7 years of experience in social media management, influencer marketing, or related roles, preferably within the fashion or retail industry+ Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media and influencer marketing campaigns. Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, trends, and best practices+ Demonstrated skill in partnering and influencing across teams to drive results+ Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills+ Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a passion for storytelling and brand building+ Experience with social media analytics and tools to measure performance and ROI+ Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a teamWe’ve got you covered…Our employees are our most important asset and that’s reflected in our benefits. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.Washington: $110,000 - $210,000 AnnuallyThis position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
