KXAN is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Multi-Media Sales Assistant to support our Sales and Advertising Department. This role combines traditional sales support with digital sales responsibilities. We are looking for a detail-oriented, digital-minded individual who can maximize station revenue opportunities and support advertising campaigns effectively.Key Responsibilities:+ Perform all clerical functions for the Sales Department, including order entry, traffic, and accounting data using computers, ledgers, orders, and other resources.+ Maintain awareness of the most current traffic policies, practices, and procedures.+ Correspond with customers and confer with coworkers to answer inquiries and resolve account problems.+ Prepare forms and reports, monitor inventory, and maintain files and other business records.+ Support campaign setup, management, research, and reporting for the sales team.+ Ensure accuracy and follow-through of orders related to advertising campaigns.+ Maintain good working relationships with other departments within the organization and clients to gather and organize information for presentations.+ Monitor digital inventory and manage traffic with Peacock / NBC Streaming.+ Perform other duties as assigned.Desired Characteristics:+ Strong interpersonal skills, including professional phone etiquette and clear communication.+ Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.+ Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.+ Adaptable to various sales situations and capable of providing solutions for client needs.+ Strong data entry and analytical skills with an understanding of statistics and market research.+ Ability to multi-taskQualifications:+ High School diploma.+ Fluency in English.+ Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.+ Minimum one year of experience in clerical support or administrative assistance, preferably in the sales or media fields.+ Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and other office equipment.+ Previous experience in administration or coordinator position.+ Experience in Digital Ad Ops, Ad Tech, Media, or Advertising is a plus.+ Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, with advanced knowledge of PowerPoint.+ Experience with Wide Orbit, Nielsen, ComScore, Kantar, Ad Views, Adobe Analytics, and Google Analytics is helpful.Nexstar Media Group, Inc.
