They are Integrity, Teamwork, Passion for Winning, Ownership & Leadership.**POSITION SUMARY:**A “can-do” attitude along with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and cross functional collaboration is essential for success in this position.This position is responsible for supporting new product development and promotional programs for domestic and international product platforms across multiple Newell Writing brands. A critical function of this role is to serve as the supply chain leader as project timelines are developed and establishing an effective supply plan to deliver projects on time and at cost. Other key activities include timeline development and management, generating 0-24 month supply and inventory plans, item setup tracking and master data maintenance, purchasing support for project execution, and developing project transition plans.Key measurements for success include being an active supply chain advocate in the project development process to deliver new products on time, in full, and at cost, exceeding customer service levels, projecting and managing inventory levels within targets, and supporting aggressive growth strategies.**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**+ Support best in class customer service quantity fill of 98% through effectively and seamlessly transitioning all new finished goods from ideation to plant level execution.+ Be an advocate in the development process to ensure supply chain milestone dates are met and delays do not jeopardize Service and Inventory metrics. Escalate and mitigate as needed to stay on track.+ Implement and support new and existing processes within the supply chain team.+ Generate and monitor short – long term capacity plans. Escalate and mitigate potential constraints and shortages.+ Attend and present at combined site reviews, monthly network meetings to support the IGM process, Sales and Operations Planning meetings, and other meetings to be defined.+ Provide effective management of product and packaging transitions and discontinuations to minimize scrap and obsolescence costs.+ Work cross functionally with Marketing, Engineering, Operations, and other project team members to introduce new products/programs on-time with appropriate inventory positioning and capacity to sustainably service customers for full product life cycle.+ Serve as the supply chain representative at all project meetings for innovation and cost reduction initiatives. Responsible for related follow-up work.+ Leverage SAP/APO/IBP capabilities to identify and eliminate project risks, reduce transaction load, and increase system utilization.+ Exemplify and drive Newell Brand’s culture within supply chain and operations.Note: This job description is a general outline of the responsibilities and qualifications.
