The Manager of the Forms Design & Approval (FDA) team is responsible for supervising the daily team operations and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. The primary responsibility is to coach and supervise the team to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of approved forms for our Pfx & Axcess products based on established internal and external deadlines. This position also routinely interfaces with other departments such as Tax Analyst teams, Utility team, Quality Assurance, and Product Management, as well as external taxing agencies to answer questions and resolve issues.**Key Responsibilities**+ Supervise daily FDA team activities, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. This includes the acquisition, update & design, and approval of tax forms, as well as internal and external customer communications.+ Provide clear and consistent direction, guidance, and support to team members, ensuring that they understand their tasks and responsibilities, and utilize staff resources in an efficient manner to ensure that all tasks and goals are prioritized and completed within their applicable deadlines.+ Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes collaboration, open communication, accuracy, high performance, and continual process improvement.+ Provide technical assistance to the team, answer questions, troubleshoot problems, and research issues to provide guidance and to implement solutions promptly.+ Serve as the primary point of contact for questions and issues from other Tax Compliance team members.+ Conduct regular touch base meetings and annual performance reviews to discuss and promote career growth and to provide coaching and feedback to team members for ongoing skills improvement and enhancement.+ Provide senior management with clear and timely updates regarding the team, as well as the overall status of form goals and deadlines.+ Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the teams promptly and effectively.+ Encourage and actively seek out solutions to drive efficiencies and deliver on our commitment to outstanding quality and value for our internal and external customers.+ Ensure that all potential concerns or risks that could affect any Tax Compliance teams are communicated to management to avoid preventable delays with the form deliverables.+ Engage in knowledge sharing and collaboration efforts between Tax Compliance teams to streamline processes and improve overall workflow.+ Assist with hiring and training of full time and seasonal contractor staff.+ Other duties as assigned by senior management.**Qualifications and Requirements**+ Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent combination of education and work experience.+ Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a similar industry.+ Minimum 6 years of experience in tax software product development.+ Working knowledge of and experience with software development processes and procedures.+ Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.+ Strong written and verbal communications skills are essential.+ Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive team culture.+ Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.+ Commitment to accuracy, quality, and continuous process improvement.+ Ability to work an extended schedule as required to meet objectives.EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Wolters Kluwer U.
