Alexa is integrated into many of our products and partner products and many thousands of devices work with Alexa.The Amazon General Intelligence (AGI) Alexa Information team is looking for a Senior UX Designer to elevate experiences across Alexa’s suite of AI products on devices, mobile and the web. You will conceptualize and craft world-class experiences, collaborate with UX designers, visual designers, researchers, engineers, product managers throughout the design and development lifecycle.Key job responsibilities- Work closely with Research, Product and Engineering to identify, plan, scope and execute end-to-end design solutions- Design and develop innovative patterns and systems that are durable, repeatable and set a new standard for craft across the company- Create, collaborate, and iterate on prototypes, user journeys, and key flows- Contribute to the visioning, sequencing, tactics, and execution of Alexa Info experiences- Lead high priority product design projects that meet customer needs with consumer-friendly experiences for Alexa- Contribute to product vision, and collaborate with a team that defines and designs user interfaces, systems, and the interaction, visual, and motion design patterns- Drive elegant design solutions from early concept through final implementation and iteration- Use systems-level design thinking to drive design solutions from your team that scaleBasic Qualifications- 7+ years of design experience- Have an available online portfolio- Knowledge of usability principles and techniques- Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and design- Experience using tools such as Figma, Origami, Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, and other design software.- Experience with motion design, prototyping and storytelling.Preferred Qualifications- Experience with designing for Machine Learning systemsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
