**38202BR****Extended Job Title:**Director of Video Storytelling**Position Description:**Directs, plans, coordinates and supervises the operations and activities of a specialized unit or small department; develops and implements policies and procedures, administers the budget, organizes tasks and sets priorities. Serves as liaison with university personnel and community at large. Works under general supervision with broad latitude for initiative and independent judgement.**Requisition ID:**38202BR**Travel Required:**Up to 25%**Major/Essential Functions:**+ Appropriately and thoughtfully delegate video projects to members of the video team, ensuring tasks are aligned with project objectives and individual strengths.+ Lead and guide development of stylized, original video content to promote Texas Tech’s brand and initiatives.+ Participate in and lead video and audio shoots and in-field production.+ Provide direction and support during post-production phase of content development.+ Use a camera or audio equipment to capture elements required for video or podcast production.+ Develop scripts for specified internal and external video and audio projects, including the university podcast Fearless.**Grant Funded?:**No**Minimum Hire Rate:**4352.42**Pay Basis:**Monthly**Schedule Details:**Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm**Work Location:**Lubbock**Preferred Qualifications:**Experience leading a team and coordinating production efforts with diverse stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to innovate and bring fresh ideas to video storytelling initiatives.**Department:**Marketing and Communications**Required Attachments:**Cover Letter, Professional/Personal References, Resume / CV**Job Type:**Full Time**Job Group:**First line Managers**Shift:**Day**Required Qualifications:**Bachelor's degree in related area required plus five years progressively responsible management experience.
