The Digital Marketing Strategist works as part of the performance marketing team to support digital marketing campaigns. This position is responsible for building, executing and optimizing digital acquisition campaigns, inclusive of paid search, social and email nurture journeys, designed to effectively engage leads and drive quantifiable results in alignment with institutional business objectives.The Digital Marketing Strategist partners closely with other disciplines in the marketing/communications department, including the marketing, social, analytics/data science and web teams.This role will also help support the organization’s email marketing strategy. The ideal candidate has experience measuring digital marketing success and reporting insights, media metrics and KPIs.+ Support digital advertising and promotional activities across a variety of platforms including paid search, social, display and video.+ Collaborate with team members in the creation of campaign assets including design, copy, landing pages and interactive components.+ Coordinate with the marketing, content, creative and digital teams to build campaigns.+ Develop microsites and campaign pages in the CRM system(s).+ Help manage external email lists.+ Help manage the email process workflow.+ Use proven understanding of UX, IA and email best practices to create effective templates.+ Help manage digital marketing vendors and agencies.+ Understand and manage the Invoca call tracking and reporting systems.+ Measure, track and report the effectiveness of the campaigns using CRM, Google Analytics and vendor tools.+ Integrate campaigns with internal systems, data sources and tracking.+ Operate as part of a larger digital team to overlap and backfill in the areas of web maintenance, troubleshooting, analytics and reporting.+ Stay current on new technologies; recommend and plan for content enhancements to the system.+ Communicate clearly to express thoughts and ideas.+ Manage multiple campaigns/projects effectively.+ In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.Position Compensation Range: $65,208.00 - $104,332.80 AnnualMINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation: Bachelor's degree required.Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in the digital marketing space required.SEM, SEO, social campaign, digital display, and content marketing experience required. Proficiency in digital marketing analytics required.Some experience with email platform management or email marketing campaigns preferred.Other skills needed include strong oral and written communication skills, ability to work effectively with a variety of individuals at different experience levels.Licensure: None.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThis is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers.
